OMG! I have my first Mass this Sunday, 2/17/13, in which I read from the Book of Deuteronomy 26:4-10 & Romans 10:8-13…wish me luck! Though I trust in the Holy Spirit, my constant companion, to carry me through… :-)

Lord be our Help in these end times! Strengthen us and protect us from the snares of the evil one!
So excited! I get to be a Lector at Mass! So blessed and humble to proclaim the Word of the Lord! :D
Thus says the LORD:
Here is my servant whom I uphold,
my chosen one with whom I am pleased,
upon whom I have put my spirit;
he shall bring forth justice to the nations,
not crying out, not shouting,
not making his voice heard in the street.
a bruised reed he shall not break,
and a smoldering wick he shall not quench,
until he establishes justice on the earth;
the coastlands will wait for his teaching.
I, the LORD, have called you for the victory of justice,
I have grasped you by the hand;
I formed you, and set you
as a covenant of the people,
a light for the nations,
to open the eyes of the blind,
to bring out prisoners from confinement,
and from the dungeon, those who live in darkness.

What Do We Do Now? (by ChurchMilitantTV)
Praise the Lord! My parish is right on cue! :D
Somehow attending evening Mass & Eucharistic Adoration places the troubles of the day at bay and infuses my soul with indescribable peace & love for God and others! Thank you Lord for always giving me just what I need, when I need it… Amen! :)
This is a great video explaining the change behind the new translation!
I must admit I was a little apprehensive about these changes, but, it really wasn’t that bad. I hope that Our Lord approves! AMEN!
