Happy Feast Day of St. Joseph the Worker!

The actions, trial, media coverage (or lack there of) and all that is associated with executioner of infants, Kermit Gosnell, leaves little doubt that we live in a sick, godless and depraved society! Little wonder will it be when the Hand of Divine Justice is meted out against our country. God help us! May we unite in prayer, fasting and penance to put an end to abortion once and for all! AMEN!
Pope Benedict XVI to the faithful…
R. (cf. 15b) Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High,
who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
say to the LORD, “My refuge and fortress,
my God in whom I trust.”
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
No evil shall befall you,
nor shall affliction come near your tent,
For to his angels he has given command about you,
that they guard you in all your ways.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
Upon their hands they shall bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the asp and the viper;
you shall trample down the lion and the dragon.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
Because he clings to me, I will deliver him;
I will set him on high because he acknowledges my name.
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in distress;
I will deliver him and glorify him.
R. Be with me, Lord, when I am in trouble.
-From Sunday, 2/17/13, Responsorial Psalm
Beautiful, isn’t it? and quite worth sharing… :D
“Eternal Father,
I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus,
in union with the Masses said throughout the world today,
for all the holy souls in Purgatory,
for sinners everywhere,
for sinners in the universal Church,
those in my own home,
and within my family.
Amen.”
This is one of my favorite prayers! :D
May the Most Holy, Most Adorable, Most Mysterious and Unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven, on earth and under the earth, by all the creatures of God, and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar! AMEN!
-Given to St. Mary of Peter of Tours, a Carmelite Nun in 1843 by Our Lord as found in the Pieta Prayer Book.
May the Holy Spirit enkindle you with the fire of His Love so that you may persevere, unfailingly, in the love of His service. Thus you may merit to become, at last, a living stone in the celestial Jerusalem.
-St. Hildegard of Bingen
A big Amen! :)
